http://www.citycataircar.com - New Fan site for the CityCAT C.A.V. (Air Car)

Ok, I had to think of a way to get the new information online without destroying the CATvolution fan web sites.

So, I created a new site http://www.citycataircar.com/ with the new information straight from MDI / Zero Pollution Motors (ZPM). This site focuses on the CityCAT Compressed Air Vehicle (Air Car) that will be produced by ZPM in the US in 2010.

Next, will be a new site for the Compressed Air Vehicle C.A.V (Air Car) that Tata Motors will produce in India in 2009/2010. Then I'll update the YouTube channel, add disclaimers to the "old" fan web sites and anything else that crops up.

More interviews with people at the 2008 New York Auto Show

There's 3 more interviews today of people who were willing to talk about the car. I tell them that I'm super-shy and couldn't do it, cause I'd be so nervous.

anyway, it was a late night online and a long day today, so i'll get an fresh start tomorrow.

Great new information on the India and North American models

Another full day with the Auto Show. Talked more with Mr. Negre and Mr. Vencat. Chatted it up with a lot of people at the show and there is a lot of interest in the compressed air vehicle, once people understand what it can do and how it works.

It was pretty funny watching people look at the car and laugh, then get very interested when they learn that it goes 800 miles on a 8 gallon tank of fuel.

btw, I learned that everything I thought I knew, was correct for the previous model, not the vehicle that was at the auto show.

That green vehicle is the model that Tata motors paid $30 million to produce in India, selling it in 2009 for $6000 USD. The 2010 North American model will be a 6-seater sedan with full safety and modern features that will get 106 miles/gallon and travel 90 mph on the highways. That will cost between $18,000-$20,000 USD.

I'd still take the green car now, spent more than $20k on my "real" car.

Excellent Day at the 2008 Auto Show

Well it was a long day for sure. I got off the bus on the red-eye trip and dropped off my stuff at the hotel. Grabbed my digital camcorder and camera gear and headed over before the doors opened for the main show.

FYI, you can visit the Automotive X-Prize Exhibit outside the ticket-required area.... for FREE!

Got the photos and a lot of video before the crowds poured in, with the interviews from Guy Negre & Shiva Vencat and the Automotive X-Prize representative coming in later in the day.

well all done the video and photo work, sending emails and now have nothing left for this..... oops.

Awesome dreams about this Air Car

Leaving Ottawa, the gas prices are at $1.04/litre. When the OneCAT finally catches on and people get it through their conditioned heads that you don't have to put gas in a car to make it go, there'll be a mad dash for these vehicles.

Maybe we can make an intelligence meter out of this. The lower the gas price is when you want to switch, the smarter you are. If you wait until gas is $1.50 a litre, you have serious denial issues, and at $2.00 a litre, you can be declared legally brain-dead.

Next post will be in New York!
